There's a show here that's on every Hogmanay called Jools Holland's Hootenanny that's usually filled with big name bands and recording artists. This year was no different except for this young 16 year old Irish girl from Donegal who came on near the end and absolutely stole the show

I've been getting a kick out of jazz lately. Hard bop and post bop stuff, mostly; Hank Mobley, Cannonball Adderley, Grant Green, Charles Mingus, Miles Davis, and this guy, of course:

This guy came up on pandora or some stream . I never heard this guy before but he has a heavy Trower influence.
The album is called "Something Old Something New"
The recording and studio work is very reminiscent of Trower.

I've found quite a few cool bands from Pandora that came up. That's how I found Orange Gobblin and then recently these guys. I've been listening to them a lot for a few weeks now.
