Om 09/23/1981, Rick Springfield played the Tulare County Fair. Through a favor with my Mom's producer, I appeared as a special guest guitarist for three songs - 'Jessie's Girl,' 'Love Is Allright Tonight' and 'I've Done Everything For You.'

I was only 16 years old at the time and I had been recording and playing professionally for 2 years.

The opening act was a band called 'Papa Doo Run Run.'
