To What Are Yee Listenin' Right Now?

Watching Every Night's a Saturday night Bobby Keys documentary.

Such a cool hour+ of stories about Bobby's life, his personality, all the musicians that recognized his skill and personable manner.
Then there are the funny parts like seeing Charlie Watts commenting about the one time he met Bobby as Bobby played a gig in his zBermuda Shorts and cowboy boots because he ripped his pants so bad, they were unwearable. Charlie's reaction was so much the Epitome of the British perspective. I quite enjoy seeing fellas like Jim Keltner, Kieth Richards, Charlie, and many others tell their own stories of him and his sax playing.

Im a fan when he just plays guitar and does what he was meant to do, but going back to what made me pick up the guitar in the first place alongside AC/DC: this guy here. That roaring sound out a Byrdland and a wall of Twin Reverbs/Super Reverbs into Dual Showman cabs is one of the most distinct sounds there is and balls to the wall.

My dad was actually AT this very concert while stationed a few hrs south at Camp Pendleton USMC Base

I was also there, hell of a day, at one point myself and a few others climbed up on the catch fence, and off to one side of us, was a black cat dancing on top of the portable toilets.
From what I remember we were in a segment of in concert, when they panned the camera to the guy dancing, we were in the footage.
Cheers

That was pretty funny. Last year at this time, I saw them at a little club in Hamburg. They normally play pretty big venues, or festivals. When they announced they would play at Lugo, all my friends in northern Germany were texting me to tell me to tickets for that show. I did, and had a total blast. After that venue closed, we all went to close two other bars, then headed to the Reeperbahn, and went to Night Light which is a German “Metal Bar.” They do heavy metal bars the way Americans do sports bars, but are much more fun than a sports bar.

The photo was taken at about 4:30 when we decided to leave. Could have stayed longer.
