Yeah, since I repair machinery that makes stuff that serves no purpose other than to kill people, I'm considered "essential" and am still working.

OK, bit of a rant...

If I'm considered essential, and have to fix machinery that is used to kill people and make rich people richer, why am I supposed to jeopardize my health servicing these customers? Why am I also doing it with a pay decrease because the economy is in trouble. I should be getting at least a 25% pay raise for not calling in sick to protect myself. It's easy for the rich bastards in management to hide at home, and "work" from their little ivory towers when I have to be around a bunch of peons who are not taking this seriously. As a 58 year old cancer survivor, I am considered a risk, but no... I still have to go bust my balls to make someone else money, and to look good.

In the meantime, I'm in a hotel eating pizza for the third night this week. I have a fridge full of beer. I did bring a guitar, some notebooks, chord books, and other toys. I would much rather be home, where I don't have to be afraid of everything I come in contact with.

People piss me off so friggin' bad.

Thanks for letting me vent.

Keeping my mind off of things by learning more Hawkwind tunes for my eventual Hawkwind cover band.

Working from home and listening my way through the entire remasters box set

What are you reparing, lethal injection table, electric chair...cigarette vending machine?

CNC machinery. Make what ever you want. Guns, missiles, syringes, motorcycle parts, car parts, space ships, etc....

Most of the customers I deal with make weapons. SIG Sauer up to Raytheon and General Dynamics. They're all garbage if you ask me.

Got on to an Airplane kick tonight.

"We are forces of chaos and anarchy. Everything they say we are we are. And we are very proud of ourselves."

This is the song that kicked everything of a few hours ago, and my Third week at the Chelsea is actually, the Hampton. It's still hell.
