I'm listening to this right now. Just came in the mail today. It's a CD. Some of you might be old enough to know what it is. This is my first listen and so far I really like it! Some guy named Hess wrote some of the songs and plays a pretty mean guitar. Don't have any videos.

Awakening Stick kicks ass in my book. Certainly as good, if not better, than what Husker Du was putting out in the 80s. The sound is much more refined and not just a wall of sound that strains you to pick out parts.

Yeah, we each sang our own. I always wanted a lead singer, because I can’t sing and play at the same time very well. My playing was always more fun on Dan’s songs.

Last night I Put this song on to learn all the guitar. Cool song, fun lead.....but, it was the vocals that really got me going. Wow! This guy can sing. I remember when this song came out, but I guess I never payed close attention to the singing. Gifted vocals IMO.
