Looks like it is a "The Gibson" headstcok. The only thing is that the "The Gibson" logo was around from 1902 to 1933, and there were no SGs until. This slanted variety that he sports in the video was around from 1902-1920ish.

Painfully..listened to all of ..For the lost. (2016 first CD i did ..with Brian on Vox) ...scared to death in 2016...25 years on bass..then guitarist quits..i paid for a studio package in its entirety...guess what..drummer bails & guitarist gets signed to a Disney cruise gig for 6 months over winter sailing out of Miami.
Studio had us booked for a week..not cool.. wrote it all & we rehearsed , ready to go..all i had to was drums & bass...begged them to give me some time....tossed some $$ their way cause of loosing a whole weeks work. I went got Epi SG with alnico 2 pups..Peavey valveking 2 & Bug v22 & made homemade cabs...played that SG 24/7 for 3 months..till my fingers had grooves on...i will never forget ..when Jon(engineer) goes..ok it's lead time..(i had drum arrangement & bass easy stuff tracked) then i had to do a lead.. was white as ghost..but did it & that started the confidence to ..go my own way..buck standard writing & 1 4 5 crap & just play from the heart..
keep in mind we were a ministry band on the church tours..(i ran non profit street ministry) here is that first song...imagine this song in a church on sat nites.

I love it... that is heavy and righteous, positive groove and tied together with out compromising any of it.

It almost sickens me....singer got in big trouble ..so this band..ended....then he came back & i wrote another CD & then he got in trouble & the my wife grabbed the mic & took over & then she got creamed & brain injury & now i can't go help people..i just sit home, almost can't go out..that loving personality is couped up at home & 2 tours cancelled...70 songs paid for...whole Outdoor venue PA in the band room..somedays i just wanna crock somebody..lol,,then last year..band was all practiced up behind the CD" Why "her & i did in studio,,,then a dui driver creams the car..she had 2 & 3rd major hit...any music we put out now is sorta a miracle & prob have given a way to introspective look at our lives thru the songs...we are not us anymore...luckily..own a business or we would be doomed,,filled a burlap sack in the basement with clothes & pillows and have to go down there evrytime the lawyer calls or the medical bill comes...fractured our family is way fractured..kids pissed off..they lost a functioning mom..i understand tho...she was alive such a good mom..now i have to guide her..no periphreal vision..no concept of what day it is..didn't even re,member going into the studio
here is the song i wrote about my addiction,,New Horizon...used to go into the cities and sit with people...they just need a friend when they are down..maybe 1 positive encounter can give em hope
last song i did w Brian..we were such good friends...first time i really listened to these..i am going to email him & see how he is...who cares what went down..a band isnt everything..here is our last studio session before something very bad happened....never listened to it..i found it buried in my computer..i smashed all the masters..when the tour got cancelled & we didnt get to Creation festival..we knew that was the launching pad for us..we were packing churches on sat nites..kids were bringing friends who never went..we didnt make it about rules & stuff....just gave out life stories & encouraged people to try & stay clean & i dont talk about it much,,but i just realized i have a phone call to make....not an email..hes SOTB last session before J had to take over vocals...just counted em all 61 songs are done & we never got to play..rant over..

That does suck !! Have nothing to ad, but keep bringing your music brother, that is quite a library of songs, I think I am close to 30, and I am forgetting how to play them, without listening and rehearsing them, positive powers to ya bro.

I know man..that is a lot of songs to be ready to play..my brain hard drive is smoking..all the bass & drums...i actually dream about songs & parts at nite...i can actually say making music has been the sanity .. did learn..can never force a song..it has ro come from within..then it just ..is..like you go into an artist trance..almost not knowing the parts played sometimes
I find myself mid song forgetting the next part, and bleed over into another song,,, huhhg cuss words come next then I start all over!!
