To What Are Yee Listenin' Right Now?

I keep returning to this song. It has really meant a lot to me this last year, with all the crap that has been going on in my life. Life's too short and fragile to waste time on unimportant stuff.

While she was in hospital receiving chemo therapy, my wife met a 15 year old girl with multiple myeloma (bone marrow cancer). She was responding well to her treatment and got successful bone marrow transplants. Things were really looking up. However, two days ago, my wife talked to the girl's mother again. They had just been told that her cancer had spread, and she was too weak to get more proper chemo. The doctors have given her three to six months to live. This hit my wife really hard. That someone this young, she just turned 16, is to be taken away is just too horrible. Make the best of every single day you have here, make it worthwhile for yourself and the people around you.

In my teens, this guitar player was the fella that interested me in guitar and got me going. He's a reasonable player (the other fella on this track ain't too bad, that Mister Hopkins fella... ...

 
I have my Shure 535s with 12 braid stuff ... enjoying music.
