I'm getting schooled on Rory Gallagher for the first time on Youtube.
Thanks to guys like Robert and Gahr and others for mentioning him. Been meaning to check it out.
Heard OF him, but never heard him that I know of.

I've listened and watched about and hour, though not as attentively as I would were I not at work, of that Beat Club video.
I'm really digging it and I notice he uses his pinky a lot; many blues players do not.
I do.
I like his use of hybrid picking on acoustic as well.
I've only dabbled a little with that and fingerpicking, moslty with slide.

Ah, that sucks. Try searching for "Taste Live at the Isle of Wight". You can also get the concert on dvd/BluRay and cd. And iTunes. I have it on my phone. Awesome gig.
