I just played that tune in a workshop with Gina. Slower (~120 bpm) and a lot more rocky. Unavoidable when i am the bass player...

(with an old 22W tube amp against 4 horns, and people liked that sound...)

Wow, I haven’t thought about Wishbone Ash in 40 years. Just went and pulled the album Argus. Need to listen to that tomorrow since I knew I liked them but can’t remember a tune from them. Thanks for the memory.

That's quite interesting: April Wine is nearly unknown here in Germany, and Ash apparently in North America. And both seem to play in the same league - the "just-below-the-absolute-top-acts".

BTW: Argus is iconic, but You might listen into albums like Locked In or Just Testing to see my comparison.
