Most everyone here hides behind a screen name, but we all also have real names.

In a peculiar twist, I have been a member of a news forum in N.Cal. for about 10 years, posting under "Biddlin," a name I'm known by locally and a unique identifier. (Google "Biddlin" and you will find my image pretty fast. Search forever under my real name, I can't find one photo or any identifiers relating to me.) About six months ago, (To raise the level of civility) they decided that everyone had to sign in with their real name, unless the publisher granted special dispensation. No problem, I signed in under my real name, but it seems that many are still anonymous and I am taking flack for protesting the site's duplicity. My comments to the owner and mods seem to be in limbo in the moderation queue.
