I have a Warmoth baked maple neck. Wondered why it smelled like mesquite when it arrived. Now I know.

It is all mahogany with an ebony board. I am gonna paint the top, change bridge configuration, and new tunners

It wants a trem,and I blew through the topinto the control cavity many years ago installing a mini switch for Duncan P-Rail. Great guitar but now it is a beater imo. So I am doing what I want to this puppy.

Well damned if a brand new rattle can of black didn't fail from the get go. Wanted to do a black burst edge over the gold. Now I gotta wait for this to fully cure before I can spray the edges. arrrrrrrrrrrha!

For anyone interested the tremelo actually works very well. Stays in tune and more range than a Bigsby, lighter too. I did install a roller bridge, but using Gotoh tuners non lock and std nut. Quite surprised and happy. I probably will swap pickups a few times.
