Well, if figured if I didn't try to write or record anything or even play all that much and just give it a big 'ol rest for six months maybe I'd get better.

I want to to say "work in progress" but who's kidding who, I don't have the attention span.
It's just enough fun for me to poop it out when an idea strikes. solid concept though, I think.

I know the name Wall of Voodoo but now I need to dive them. @Thatbastarddon I would love to hear what somebody with skills could shape it into.

While I was writing it, another idea came to me at the same time LOL! so for a bit I had two going simultaneously ... which is odd for me - has a similar vibe I think, called it "List."

Simply an angry dude listing all those who done him wrong, what they done. It's kinda dark too, but another solid concept with edgy drama to it.

Yes @Jethro Rocker , I used MT Power Drums, which is a free VST plugin.... Samples triggered by midi. I know little about all this, but have figured out just enough to be able add and move crashes and make simple fills, etc.

"Go Bag" has become a bit of an earworm for me, probably mostly due to listening to it a couple hundred times while putting it together. I really want to fix the bass tho, it's the weakest part. Would probably offer max benefit for least amount of effort. I'm plain brutal on bass, it's where my awful rhythmic tendencies are exposed the barest, I think.
