It takes a certain mindset, and IMO should be consumed in chronological order. There’s a lot of character development, and are a LOT of callbacks that are pretty priceless (again IMO) when consuming in order.
John Dunsworth was a genius of physical comedy, and a huge loss when he passed. I am certain that I am not alone in that opinion.

Further @DirtySteve , the first 6 seasons are the best of the lot, at the very least. They can be found on Netflix, along with the bulk of the rest. They fly past, as there are only a few episodes per season.
