In all seriousness, I think because famouse people have an influence on the masses, somehow they think they are smarter than a non-famous people. Then media makes them bigger than they are just because they are famous. A good example is Jon Schaffer, I love his guitar skills but his thinking and everything went sideways...why do we as a species look to musicians and ACTORS (by definition paid clowns) for "guidance" and -- LOL "wisdom" ???????
or does the (media) just SHOVE the "guidance and opinions" of musicians and actors down our throats ?
I agree, Ramo! They wouldn't be famous if they had no fans!In all seriousness, I think because famouse people have an influence on the masses, somehow they think they are smarter than a non-famous people. I hate when people worship other people just because they have certain skills. you can like them, love them at what they do but worship? come on now... I saw on Metallica concert, this fun was asking Lars for a towel, he blew his nose into it and gave it to him.... the fun was happy.... to me that's sick and if has done that to me I would throw that towel back in his face.... As much as I'm a Metallica fanboy that's never acceptable to me..
The same goes for any celebrity.
I took the first dose of Pfizer on March 11th at 1:18pm and literally didnt even feel the needle. She said " all done!" And gave me a timer set to 15mins. Waited it out with my wife who was seconds behind me , went home and the most i felt afterwards was just a sore spot at the injection site for about 2 days ( like getting hit in the arm)The pain was no worse than a small bruise. I felt tired for an afternoon after receiving it. I get my second one on Monday
I didn't feel a think either, and later that day it just felt like a small bruise. I get my second on Monday and can't wait.

The 2nd Dose was taken on April 1st at 1:08pm and admittedly, it hurt the second it went in. Dont know if that was how she inserted the needle, which was a little faster and at a bit of an angle. Again, 15min wait period with my wife second's behind me again and we left. This time however, the nurses administering the shot had told us to drink plenty of fluids, heavy in electrolytes preferably, because it had been reported to minimize symptoms. So we went and got a ton of Body Armor and Gatorade, supplementing it with lots of water.
I got a terrible headache within hours, then it became like a flushed-face feeling. Joints were achy, just kinda felt likefor 2 days. Day 3, it turned into this nauseous stomach feeling and on day 4, all good. My wife never felt anything and walked out fine both times, as did my father in law. So i guess i was the unlucky one lol
But even still, that was all extremely minor issues that I'd gladly do over if it means reducing the chance of Covid by roughly 95%. Its been 3 weeks today, no extra digits, no mutant hair growth, no extra manboobs other than the two i rock daily ( although that might not be so bad, definitely worth a career in certain types of "films")
I'm currently dealing with this exact problem within my own family, with my own brother and nephew, as well as my brother-in-law giving 5million reasons why they simply wont take it. The bad part is: with my brother, he and his eldest son are the only two on my side of the family who are eligible and WONT take it, despite his own wife having her's months ago as a teacher. My dad has a fair bit of health issues such as diabetes, blood pressure and prostate cancer ( despite being a fairly little guy in decent shape). He and my mom both took Moderna a while ago and do their best to protect themselves, but with my brother and nephew coming around, unvaccinated and not following the guidelines: they are putting them at risk even though they have the shot and its potential to not work all of the time.Yeah, like I mentioned, didn't feel the needle at all and just the equivalent of a small bruise later in the day and that evening. Only "symptom" I had was feeling a bit tired the next day. My wife had a few very minor body aches which were also limited to the following day.
I suspect I will feel worse after the second shot, and that's fine. It's a damn sight better than getting really sick from Covid or, perhaps worse, giving it to someone else unknowingly. That's the part that incenses me about deniers/refusers/quasi-libertarians - it's not just themselves they do it for. The person they save could be someone they love.
Feeling ill for a short while after shot 2 is your immune system working. We get our first one any day now.
