Maybe I have too many projects. This is a future 45ACP SBR. The lower uses Glock magazines. The barrel at the moment is 16". Once the paper work comes back from the ATF I will change it to a 10" which will be flush with the end of the handguard. The orange cap is a thread protector, or as I like to describe it, my camoflafe as a cap gun.

Speaking of desert, Having just returned from NV, AZ and CA, I sure saw my share of desert. Not much wildlife but I did see some on our 2+ hr train ride from Williams AZ to the Grand Canyon. Prairie dogs, coyotes, antelope, mule deer, Elk

Damn son, I live down in Phoenix, just south of where you were.

Cool Chaz, I was from Vegas to Death Valley, to Flagstaff to Hoover Dam, to Seligman and Sedona on back to Vegas for the flight east. Sadly my enjoyment of the trip was curtailed by a flu I took with me and gave to my girlfriend while we were there. Both of us are still recovering and hacking up lungs but had a good time despite this.

I thought we were talking about the above pic. Not my entire collection. 50 cal not really considered an AR platform.

Ok after looking for him I remember him. I have watched several of his videos. Your description of him is spot on. I can only take him in small doses.

Oh, I do know. Chas. 50 cal would give me nuthin but that OH HAIL YEAH! feeelin.
I once found a 50 cal projectile when pulling up some carpet. I asked a buddy what he thought it was. He then pulls out a single 50 cal brass shell. Minus powder and primer, we had a whole round between the 2 of us.
