Here we go. Crue put up a good fight against Def, 9 VS 10 votes, Super close... but they just didn't have the staying power.
I hear heroin will do that to a fellow.

So the stage is set now for the final battle.

It's old world rockers baby! I know some of you are feelin' this like a punch in the gut. But this is how it went, no arguing.
All our metal memories have culminated into this face-off. Between two bands that rocked a lot of faces off.

Both songs released about six months apart. What a time it was.

Well, I'll be the first to go.

I've said some complimentary things about Def Leppard thus far. I meant all of that.

But, in this matchup, I have to go with the Scorpions.

They just have too much history, energy, and significance to the overall rock and metal scene not to give them the nod.

I voted Def Leppard. Slightly less creepy IMO. They had big fire at the start but musically gradually steered more accessible, progressive and adventuous, yet still managed to bang out stadium anthems ... vocally far superior, guitar
-wise... it's almost a draw. A killer back catalog. A band that kept a drummer who lost his arm in a car crash, members remaining patient and supportive while he worked it out, then bounced back and sold 25 million copies of Hysteria.

I think Klause is an underated singer. He can hold his own with most. Granted not much for rich Def harmonies.
Watching the Scorps slay it at US Fest 83 seals the deal for me.

Congrats to the Scorpions... By TTR Popular Vote:

A decisive victory! I wouldn't have guessed it personally, but that's why we run the game out!
I hope everybody had fun remembering all the music, concerts and good, good times!
