A little late here, but another big + on D-Day. Dad flew 6 missions on that day as top turret gunner on a B-24. Such bravery for anybody, a 19 year old kid sitting in a glass bubble on the top of a bomber.

The crew at work taught me about that stuff. A great tool for sure.

I have a love hate with that soldering braid, sometimes it works like a charm, sometimes I cant seem to get it hot enough without turning the station up way higher than I know it should be. I found tinning the iron, even to de solder helps a lot.

I prefer the sucker tool when I can get the nozzle in there.

I also use copper braid for sucking up the solder and it does a good job. I also have a de-soldering pump that's high-quality that does a good job of getting rid of big solder blobs by sucking them up good.

Good question - I think the stake /signs in the plants from the farm just said "fresh herbs - basil"

Aaaaaah! This is a great choice. Genovese has more flavor than the common Sweet basil.
Here's a Goldmember cooking secret I'll share with you, jtcnj: pick a few handfuls of basil, and
add them to your pasta during its last five minutes of boiling. You can take the leaves out
or keep them in after draining. The flavor and fragrance are amazing!
