This is a great...

On a terrible day for Team Britannia, being slaughtered by Luna Rossa, I'd like to say that the Italian team are great, but they are only very good - the Brits are making too many errors...

But, I have found something Italian, something Rossa, something great, so in the spirit of Sportsmanship (and Sportswomanship) I offer you:

This site is great for converting files to .wav files where they can easlily be inserted into recording software, such as Studio One. Best of all, it is free. It does all sorts of file conversions

Zamzar - video converter, audio converter, image converter, eBook converter

If you want to convert audio files into different formats, use:
Sony Sound Forge.
Sound Forge was specifically created with and for the professional recording industry.

Be Very cautious about uploading / downloading files from websites that promise "free services."
They can insert code into your files....and you have no idea "what" the files really contain.

Just a vice you say? No way, this thing is part of the family. I've been around this vice my entire existence....pops gave it to dad.... dad gave it to me. It's well over 100 and In perfect working order. At some point pop made a brace to attach it to the support beam in the basement. Now I need to mount it.

So, that's why it's great!!

That is great. So cool that you still use it!

If the vice is great, this anvil is greatest. It resided underneath the vice all those years. I couldn't believe I took possession of it. I smashed sooooo many things on it as a kid.
Then a few years ago my sister says, "dad said I could have it". I didn't want to give it up, but she drove from Texas to Connecticut just to get it....I guess she was serious.

So, I was bummed when I went to visit her, and there the anvil sat, buried in her garage, never once used.

And recently I was talking to my cousin who explained, it's not even an anvil, it's some sort of weight for a machine of sorts. (Not exactly sure) but, it's no anvil!!

However, it's still great!!
