Thinking Maybe Its Time To Hang It Up:

Yep, once something becomes your job, even if it's something you love to do, it's still a job/work.

Making a living playing a guitar is a longtime dream for many of us, but once it becomes your job I can see how that would probably just suck all of the fun out of it. Would for me, anyway.

Similar thing happened to my i had issue with my pc gave it to guy to fix it and he wiped everything off without my permission. All the song ideas current projects everything was gone . Then i started backing up then i had move my house so i put my stuff in storage apart from my guitars., my storage guy sold everything my hard drives where i had my boy learning walk vide pictures whole lot... my furniture , cds, clothing all gone as i didnt itemise i cloud not sue him ... i knew him from someone and i trusted him . Had to start all over from 0 again.
When all this was happening i got kicked out of the band i in... i wanted to hung it up , as people kept telling me i suck , im tone deaf ect,.... after all that i did hung it up for 5 years or so but i came back to it .i get frustrated feel bad when i cant learn something but i take my time ... i dont want to make this post about me but the reason i said that is i kind of know where you coming from...

Take your time , relax clear your head and enjoy your bike ride , if i knew how to ride and lived near you i would go ride with you....
