Bigsby B7 Vibrato Tailpiece along with a Vibramate V7 adapter kit.
Also includes a Vibramate string spoiler, DP string butler, and a no-name roller bridge.

All that stuff separate would easily be more than twice the price.





Listing says "This entire setup was recently taken off a Gibson USA Les Paul."
So, where would it go...?

With the Vibramate adapter, it's totally reversable.

The one I have on the Firebird; I originally put on the SG.

I'd base it on the way they play. From an optical point of view [pun intended, I guess] the plain (Honeyburst) on the right. It could do with a little something to set it apart.

It would certainly distract from it. Just my opinion, but that LP looks a bit 'bland'. It needs a defining characteristic. Why not the Bigsby if it lends itself to the purpose, right?

I like the red red wino for it myself, the honey burst just looks like a bare bones rocker to me. And the gold top would be 2nd choice.

At 8.4#, the chambered wine-red Studio is the lightest of my 3 LP's.
A little more weight wouldn't hurt it.

The solid body gold top is just under 10# as is.

I've never played a Bigsby guitar so I'm no help, but I have been curious. What do they do to the sound of a guitar, anything? Seems like it would have to do something to the sound or something, even changing a regular TOM or ABR with a different one can change the sound/feel/response of a guitar.

Shallow break angle across the bridge, and longer string length add a bit of sustain and make the strings feel a bit more relaxed.
Tone changes are subtle, but there's a definite change in the "feel" when playing.

Not a divebomb kinda trem like a FR or Kahler.
More of a gentile tremolo effect when you wiggle the bar.
