Just spent a couple of days messing around in the garage (the wife asked me to knock her up some wooden planters for the garden) and was using a selection of different power tools, mitre saw, table saw, track saw, router etc. All without incident. I then came back into the house and managed to slice my thumb opening a tin of spaghetti.
Then today, while fitting a new carpet in the bedroom, I kicked the carpet to move it a little but my foot slid across the surface and I ended up kicking the wall wearing only slippers and broke my big toe (apologies for the pic)
I have come to the conclusion that I am a walking case study for safety reps everywhere :rolf:

You can never be too careful.
I have injured myself at work and at home.
Sometimes trying to accomplish something quickly can lead to the injury.

Once I cut myself with a razor knife about 5 years ago between my thumb and index, stitches. Just lucky it was toward the wrist instead of in between. I might not have been able to play guitar. Well I still can’t but that is a different story . lol
Looks painful, get well soon

That toe pic is the moment when you realise you speak 17 languages.

I broke a toe once, I think it broke anyway, I never went to the doctor, but it hurt for at least a year. I was in high school working at a rental place. I was rolling up one of those big air compressor hoses (with those big couplers on the ends) and I was pissed at the time. After I got it rolled up I raised it up over my head and slammed it on the floor, the coupler landed right on my birdie toe and I hit the floor. I don't think I've ever felt pain like that since. It was probably 1986 or 87 and I remember it like it was yesterday.
