Things important to you when purchasing guitar

I’m like Ramo, i order online. I usually don’t care about neck thickness, except 7 strings, then I have to make sure it has a thin neck.

I generally buy based off of (what role will it serve? Will I use it for Drop D? Standard tuning? E flat? Etc.

does it have features I generally like?

Does it inspire me? Can I just look at it and riffs just come to my head? If all three are yes... then yea.. I’m buying it.

Intonation and action are the first things I look at.
Then I want a lot of sustain, which depends on the wood exclusively.
But I do want a guitar made in USA -- and it's important to me to support jobs and workers in my own country first.
I will buy stuff from Canada / Mexico / UK also.

BTW I am wearing 100% USA clothing too.

Neck
note separation when strummed
will the pickup fit in the tone range as something new

set up-action -my job, to take the time to get it there as learning the guitar

if it doesnt record good-immediately gone have no attachment to gear that isn't being used to play in a band setting or in the studio

For me,

Is the build quality fully functional and adjustable to make the guitar reliably playable in tune and to last me a lifetime?

Does it have the SOUND?

Price for what I get and as someone said before, DO I have the Cash for it?

To Be Cont.
