I have always been so enamored with this band, Styx was my very first hard rock tape.... Before that all I listened to was what my parents were in to, Glen Campbell, Anne Murray, Elvis? Just older stuff...

After Styx turned me on to big guitar tones... It was straight to Judas priest and Slayer.

Anyhow, I love this solo and this song so much.
Thought I'd share a live version with you.

I think there is just so much freaking talent in this band.

One of my first cars had an 8-track player; I wore out the Paradise Theater tape.
Did a lot of Styx and Kansas back in my cover band days.
More fun to play that the straight bar rock stuff.

I was lucky to see the Doors in 1968 then Led Zeppelin 1969 the Doors were better at that time live

Saw Styx the new version a few years ago. Really screaming guitars live. Was really good. Lawrence Gowan did a fantastic job replacing Dennis DeYoung.
