These Epiphones have been showing up lately

You could buy all top notch hardware of your choosing ,wiring ect on that Epiphone and still be thousands cheaper than the Gibson model Widow. Alot cant get by the Epiphone on the headstock. This Epiphone is not under priced its the Gibson stuff thats way overpriced. Id take these new Epiphone Les Paul customs they offer over any low end Gibson. Just my opinion. People are free to buy what they want.

They look good. I wonder how they compare to a Gibson Tribute or Studio. I mean, they have a figured top and binding like a high end $3000 Gibson, so how can they sell them for 800 bucks like that. I get the whole Gibson name brand that you're paying for, but even a stripped down plain top Tribute with no binding and a shit PCB cost more than that. If I ever see one out in the wild I'll check it out, but so far I haven't seen one hanging on the wall.
I know some of the lower end Epis use Photo Flame finish ie- a photo of flame laminated or whatever to a piece of cheap maple.

I really wanted the yellow one when Gibson came out with them a few years back. Would probably still get one if I ran across it for the right price.

I have zero interest in owning an Epiphone, but they do sure look darn cool.

Six easy payments of $6500.00 my GOD

Those are gorgeous! I've been eyeballing the Gibson widows for awhile as well! But gosh! 10k??? No way!

Having owned many of both brands, I wouldn't hesitate to buy these epi guitars at all.

I swap pickups out of every guitar so.... For me, that's a wash.
Epi tuners and hardware is "nearly" as good.
Pleked? Worth it.

I have only disliked tuners from one brand of guitars ever.... And that would be Gibson! Hate them. Nearly always swap those out.

It comes down to 2 things for me, 1. brand name recognition, and 2. A poly vs nitro finish on the neck. I prefer the nitro by far, but it's that worth 9k bucks? Not hardly.
