That looks like the one in the video that mdubya posted...Well I received my el cheapo theramin kit from Radio shack that I have yet to assemble, then I found and bought this just now:

Looks like the same exact one. It has a jack on the back and I'm gonna try playing through some pedals and my ampThat looks like the one in the video that mdubya posted...![]()

My favorite theremin performance. The ending is the best part.

Mdub! Cool video man! The cat actually seemed to be playing with some comprehension of what it was doing.
What was doubly funny was that my krabby-kat was fast asleep nap'n on his fluffy white pillow next to the Gibby on the couch when I started to play that video.

And as soon as those first tones played by that thar Thera-Kat came out the speakers... His head pops up as if he's saying...

Well, I can only imagine what Mr Grumpy-butt & his little cat brain is formulating for thought, but it looks to me like he isn't all that happy about that noise waking him up right now from his nap!
Yet sometimes I swear, I can see something when I look in his eyes man..

But maybe he's just a 'Cat-Box Hero.. with Starz in his eyes'

The Day the Earth Stood Still! My all time favorite Sci-fi movie!!!
Col, is that PHIL X on the telecaster?!?!?!?!?
Yeah, and I never saw the remake of The Day the Earth Stood Still.
Once was enough. I was way too young when I saw those images, and had bad dreams about
the giant robot for a long time after. "Klaatu Barada Nicktoe" YER ASS!!!!!!!
My crush for Jennifer Connelly began with Bowie's Labyrinth

Bah, the original was the best as is the case on most remakes. The Blob with Steve McQueen is another favorite of mine, the remake, not so much.Did you enjoy the redo with Keanu & Jennifer Connelly?

The first was super scary yet the optics (can't really call the visual tech graphics from that era can we?) always looked 50's phony but, the cinematography & use of the camera was top notch & very well done.

Despite the limited tech of the era, the original was still able to conjure ominous imagery & fearful emotions...

Not bad for 1951 eh?
For me, seeing the original first always sets an almost insurmountable bar... yet, I will say I enjoyed both. But then, in all honesty, I am a real easy to please movie purveyor & often find myself enjoying many of the movies critics destroy will their gang bang of bad reviews.
So how bout you Wave? Col? Did you guys see the 2004 redo & did y'all like it at all?
I would have to agree on all of that WaveMasterFlash.Bah, the original was the best as is the case on most remakes. The Blob with Steve McQueen is another favorite of mine, the remake, not so much.
That was an exceptional presentation...Me too!......

These bird brains lost their heads & had their grubby dirty paws all over her!

I even heard the little green pig fvk'r Kermie da Frog was foolin 'round with her behind the scenes while filming the Labyrinth! (No doubt a 'Henson-Hookup' ala Weinstein style)

So maybe I should cut myself some slack eh??
