Yep, mine was the first twin cylinder Desmo (1974 SS 750, AKA Green Frame) I had a 450 single Desmo a couple of years before that, they were called "Silver Shotguns".

We loved it too...but it was dangerous as hell! I am surprised we are both still alive after blasting around for 3 years on that beast!
I had a few very scary moments both driving it and as a passenger on it...but we thought we were bad ass and bullet proof!

It was a 69 I believe. Drum brakes for sure and no front brake...dangerous as hell! Thing would break your leg if you didn't kick all the way through when trying to start it.
No electric option either, it was muscle or a push start...I recall jumping on it with both legs a time or two.

Yep mine was just a kick start only.And ya you had to follow through with the kick start or it would club the S$!t out of your leg .
