The wait is on... tic... tic ... tic...

I am so used to checking tracking numbers everyday that I feel an empty spot now with nothing to look forward to. I must admit that a lot of the GAS is the anticipation of the package arriving. I'm seriously thinking of packing my Korg Pandora Mini in the PRS gig bag and taking this to work with me for some lunch time jamming. I have a nice set of Sennheisser headphones there that I wear all day while working. My only concern is that it is just a gig bag and not a hard case.
I heard those gig bags are quality and provide reasonable protection.

Well it is excellent book matching. I was concerned when you returned the last one because it was so nice, but you came out ahead on that gamble!!

Below was the first one that I returned

I like the quilt on this one much more than the previous one. This one is indeed bookmatched where the first one was not.

I've never been a zebra pickup fan and already have some mod plans for after the honeymoon. I'm thinking about replacing the pickups with a pair of Tyson Tone pups I have in stock, replacing the cream pup rings with black rings and replacing the vol/tone pots with concentric pots so I'll have a separate vol/tone for each pup.

I know aesthetics are important, but those 85/15's are smoking good pickups. Probably the best PRS has ever had, so I hope you are sure they are not the sound you are looking for.

Well spoken Gman. I do indeed love the sound they make. Even though there is only a single tone and volume control, there is a very noticeable difference between the neck and bridge pups with just a flip of the switch. I just have a bad infatuation with trying to fix sumthin that ain't broke

Ya Wavy how you liking that PRS ?
To be honest, I've been so busy fixing my car last weekend and working on customer web sites in the evening, I have not had a chance to play it since the night I brought it home. That's about to change.
