The wait is on... tic... tic ... tic...

I played it for a few minutes and then came here to post some pics because, well you know...
:pics3:

Now I gots to do some web site work so I can pay for these new additions to my car and studio.

Now for the PRS. I just have a crappy cellphone pic for now. Perhaps after I'm done working on my car I'll use a real camera. Here are pictures of the box as I received it from Guitar Center...

Hmmm, this caught my attention real quick! If I ever need to ship this anywhere, I'm not so sure this box will hold up. There was a secondary box inside the damaged box and it made the journey with no damage. FYI, the radiator was shipped FedEx, the PRS was shipped UPS.

That box is horrific. I'd be tempted to buy a cheap ass busted guitar for $40 and then file a claim with UPS for damage to my expensive PRS and make them pay for a new one.

Once upon a time in my previous life I would try stuff like that. I'm trying to be a better person now. Besides it would have to go back to GC and they would see that I was trying to pull a scam.

Well it is excellent book matching. I was concerned when you returned the last one because it was so nice, but you came out ahead on that gamble!!

Yeah, I like the quilted top on this one much better than the 1st one. I'm having a hard time keeping my eyes and hands off of her.

Beautiful quilted loveliness Wav.
I dig it.
The dark edgeburst, the maple binding, the whole package.
Outstanding specimen.

I am so used to checking tracking numbers everyday that I feel an empty spot now with nothing to look forward to. I must admit that a lot of the GAS is the anticipation of the package arriving. I'm seriously thinking of packing my Korg Pandora Mini in the PRS gig bag and taking this to work with me for some lunch time jamming. I have a nice set of Sennheisser headphones there that I wear all day while working. My only concern is that it is just a gig bag and not a hard case.

I've never been a zebra pickup fan and already have some mod plans for after the honeymoon. I'm thinking about replacing the pickups with a pair of Tyson Tone pups I have in stock, replacing the cream pup rings with black rings and replacing the vol/tone pots with concentric pots so I'll have a separate vol/tone for each pup.
