The Ultimate SG Collection....

The SG that started it all for me...CL $185 Epi 400 with SD Alnico 2. fall 2015 I paid for the band to record a full CD. All practiced up mostly my songs(lazy bastards lol) ready to record..the guitar player gets hired by Disney crusie ships to do the Carnival cruise ships shows good for him ,,good kid great player) well i paid for the time..called studio & they they were cool & gave me some time..in the mean time...everybody bailed..found this Sg & said screw it..this guitar thing..its a bass with some more stuff...3 months later,,,winter 2016 went into studio & did it...Peavey valve king2 & 2 pedals..think the SG is really my guitar...should by no means be playing guitar.. love bass..but its been funEphrata Borough-20151105-00364.jpg

I am afraid once I get one, I will want 2 more, one with P90’s and another single PU style..
But hey!
They are out there, I just have got to get the first one in my hands....
My wife teases me with pictures that she finds.....

I swear, you should just look up Adrian and go get that Herndon SG.
The poor man put lots of energy and effort into turning a regular Gibson
into the perfect rock machine. After he did all that, he still was finding
fault with it for absolutely no reason.

Anybody else could make that guitar fly. You should just go get it. Pay whatefer
Adrian needs to flip it, and own one of the coolest custom SGs I've ever observed
being birthed on this forum or over on ETSG.

All the great mods done to that Herndon SG make it totally unique.
I think it's bizarre that he couldn't sell it here, but it's probably because
he kept saying how little he liked it. *shrugs

I never paid any attention to how much he complained about that guitar.
I knew, as Adrian does, how cool and special it actually is. If you live close
enough to spit, and if it's still for sale, you should follow your G.A.S. and go
get that. It's about as perfect a rock machine as anybody could want.

AND it's worth every penny of whatever Adrian needs to get for it.
That Herndon SG is worth much more than any custom shop SG ever
could be.

I have seen some of his work, and without even playing it, I am quite sure its BETTER than any CS could ever deliver..

His guitars are just something to have.....Hopefully it doesn’t have the baseball bat neck, I am spoiled with the slim tapers and have 2 LP’s with the slim taper than my beloved IBBY’s...
I have had to rid of a few with necks that I just could not bond with....If the neck is what I am searching for than that SG will be the one for me.....
I have tried to play n bond with fatter necks and it just will not allow me to bond although some have been great guitars.....

I had some issues with the electronics, but once those were resolved, it became a GREAT guitar. It's been played on well over 300 recordings for hire.

Got a Gibson 57 Classic Plus in the bridge and all receipts. The harness and pots are all top shelf and its impervious to EFI/RFI.

For the record, I just couldn't seem to bond with the SG shape....that's all!!!!

Adrian doesn't like fat necks either. This one is between a 50's profile and a 60's slim taper.

Adrian seemed to like it!!!!
