I have no choice in, the board came with the loop already on. When I put the hook strips on the pedals I only put it where it will line up with the loop strips on the board, so a strip across either end of the pedals. I do rotate some of my pedals, fuzz & dirt. I get round having problems with the hook on the pedal quite easily, a couple of strips of loop tape on a piece of ply wood that I stick the unused pedals to & use for home use. Cheers

My Gator board came with the board covered in loop. Have never owned another actually. Almost every pedal I have traded for has always been hook on pedal already. I mention that as I have found a little bigger board I think I am going to buy and it has nothing attached. I will probably stay the same way on that board also.
