The Ultimate Gibsons Les Paul Custom Replica - A New Twist:

I bet them boys at Guitar Sinner love you .....................

I would say the ones here love me --- but every time I go in there are different overly tattooed hipsters in skinny jeans running the thing.....

They are cool, Man. The manager sends a few back that I have black-flagged....

Just a short video foolin' around on the LPC Replica, still with all of its loaner hardware and Epiphone Burstbuckers through DSL40C with no effects...

Compared to the 1987 Squirecaster through the same amp -same settings - Dimarzio DP404 (1992) Virtual Vintage Solo (10k) in the bridge:

Compared to the 2016 Gibson SG with GFS Classic II's (Thanks to Jack @ GFS!) Alinco II PAF Clones 7.93k Bridge/7.88k Neck @ 56 degrees F, Bourns 500k pots, Switchcraft jack and switch, 22 AWG cloth wire, Russian K40Y tone capacitors .033uf bridge .015uf neck played through Marshall DSL40C 1/2 gain -1/2 volume sitting directly in front of the amp with I-Pad on top of amp....same amp and settings in all videos

That is indeed a full-blooded strat...

Just a DiMarzio Stacked Single Coil I bought in 1992 with 10k. Used it until 2011, then swapped in twin humbuckers, but the DP404 sounds bigger and meaner, so it went back in.

Middle pickup is a 1982 DiMarzio HS3 DP117 with a 1995 DP217 YJM in the neck...

That Strat is also the heaviest one I have ever played at over 10 pounds...

It was bought for me by bandmates in 1988, and I keep it for that reason alone. It has popped up on a few recordings over the years.

One thing...those DiMarzio's are THE QUIETEST puckups I have ever used. Even at full gain through my DSL40C they have zero floor noise.

Even my humbuckers are noisier!!!

The back of my current pickguard showing vintage DiMarzio's, aluminum shield and 220k ohm resistor on the bridge pickup to trim the highs...all installed in the 1980's.
