Here you can see the custom-made black/yellow/black pickguard, made to 1984 Japan Stratocaster dimensions, by Chandler Music in Chico, California.

Here's one of my little workbench inventions...
It's a threaded collar with two wave washers that keeps the tremolo arm tight.

Ok, so this morning, we setup to record a few projects for hire and I brought YelloStrat and my Blackstar ID-Core 100watt along just to do a soundcheck.

This isn't anything special, just my standard preset tones that I use, but here it can be heard independent of other instruments and vocals.

Just noodling around on some rhythm passages.

The 44awg/16.5k/AlNico9 DiMarzio Neanderthal Humbucker really does deliver.

Does sound good, Robert. Works well for what you are doing for sure. I think it's a bit compressed to be super versatile (the bane of high-output pickups) but is dripping with hard rock goodness.

Thank you for the kind words and discerning ear!

I'm likely to use my Les Paul for the projects where a cleaner guitar is needed

YelloStrat, yellostrat what is Robert feeding you?
YelloStrat, yellostrat it's not your fault...

They won't take you to the luthier.
You obviously look a little bit poofier.
You may not be a Clapton Blackie,
And you're no friend to Protools trackie.
