The Other Side Of Bon Scott...

We all know Bon Scott as the infamous frontman for AC/DC but has anyone saw his more gentle side? Does anyone remember him in the band Fraternity? The band members played Gibson SG guitars also...what a coincidence.

That's great. Amish Bon!! He even wore a shirt.

They had SG's in the Valentine's too....I'm sensing a pattern.

I remember that tune! I just never really knew the band's name. They must have been a one-hit wonder. That was a good one...Amish Bon! He certainly does look like it in that video. I think all the band members make furniture after each and every concert.;)

That statue, in Fremantle, Western Australia, is about a 20 minute drive from my house.
There's also a memorial at the Fremantle Cemetery, which is about 15 minutes away!
He isn't actually buried here - he was cremated and his ashes scattered, but he was a Fremantle boy, so it was fitting that a
memorial was set up for him here.

Boy, if I was in a band with that drummer the first 1:30 of that song would have compelled me to put my fist through his fvk'ng godam tom-tom drum!

Well, on a happier easy listening note,.. Here's another Bonn hit in the Valentines that you probably will recognize Black.

And maybe the Valentines biggest hit that got a revived bump from the movie 'There's Something About Mary'.

I mean who knew all these years right?

Good tunes you posted Barry Bo Jangles! I remember the buttercup song but I didn't know the name of the band. Now I know. It sure looks like Bon had quite the music career before joining AC/DC...a man of many talents.

In that top "Fraternity" video, he looks like Jethro Clampett's cousin!!!

Oh yeah, I went and saw my old mate Bon on Monday!

Great picture Alex...you're standing next to a legend and looking handsome as always.;) That is a good analogy comparing Fraternity to Jethro Tull or Jethro Scott. I was thinking that myself. I think Bon Scott played a bagpipe in one of the early AC/DC songs. Do you remember what song it is? There's a video for it somewhere.
