The Only Acoustic I Would Consider Owning:

here's something you didn't know was going to be exciting:
Paul Brady singing "Arthur MacBride" ( a bit of brute force from an unexpected quarter...)

In my life, that kind of quote or thought has usually occurred just after some disaster, near disaster, or other such brush with death.
I always say "I dont like surprises" for just that reason.

Segovia is the only acoustic music I have ever listened to all the way through.

I consider Segovia, Charro, and Jose Feliciano to be true acoustical masters.

If I ever made it to the big time, I can assure you, there will never be an "unplugged" concert.

My mind doesn't think in terms of "acoustic guitar" for some reason...more like "acoustic music" and for me that doesn't get any better than contemporary Bluegrass

Since my orientation is to music, I find I am not acoustic or electric oriented... which is cool. You can make music with both. I do shows in both versions. My preference...? The ones that sounds best. I have several acoustics most f which are acoustic/ electric. To me it gives the best of both worlds.

My primary acoustic is an Ovation Balladeer..... Very good sound, active acoustic and a breeze to play... after you learn the back technique.

I picked up the Celebrity as an acoustic back up for string breaks...

I dearly love my 12 strings as well.........

An older Alverez... don't know how old... but she is a very cool 12, straight acoustic.

My show 12 is this one...

Best 12 for tuning and tone I have ever owned!

I have a few other acoustics, but haven't had them out for some time. Acoustics are great... unless you want to click on the gain and distortion pedal! :yesway:

yah, that's what recruiting Sgt Knapper said to me cousin Arthur MacBride...

The only photo of me playing am acoustic - Mom's old 12 string Airline (by Alvarez) around 1984 - strung with only 6 strings for my big fingers. I was thinking yesterday...I MIGHT have actually played 3 acoustics in my lifetime. Last time I picked one up was in 1998....They just don't speak to me personally, although they are fine instruments.
