The One and Only STP

Ya I really dug them in the early 1990's I think it was; before the singer Scott Wiel something got on the horse of course.

With the rules changes I feel so inhibited about letting my thoughts flow in my posts.
Kind of like being in a crowded elevator with people you actually know.
It's familiar but still a bit stifled and uncomfortable.

I was expecting Fuel Additive discussion or an oil thread..........interesting

I'm going to have to check into STP a little more, haven't listened to them much before, but the couple songs I've heard got my attention.

As for me I liked Scott Weiland's showmanship, but like the cement that glued me to their sound is the chemistry between the Deleo brothers, and Eric Kretz drummer. When I listen to STP, I first am hooked by Robert Deleo's Bass lines. Just take a listen to silky smooth lines in Creep and Plush or the bouncy bass lines in Trippin on a hole in a Paper Heart, or the thunderous low end in Down. I was at this show and can honestly say, the experience and energy, heat, sweat, thrill of that day will never leave me. As many times as I view STP, Deftones, LIVE or the other acts from this Rolling Rock festival, I still haven't found myself in the crowd shots, but if there was a camera man who got me and it was broadcast, I will find my crazy self.
