The Ocean:

HAHA I got Don's "like" on my post above. The worst part is if I lose too much, I also lose muscle and strength to do my construction work. It is a tough balance being big enough to move heavy weight by myself, and yet light enough to be nimble for things like squeezing into small spaces, being on knees all day laying tile, or climbing ladders etc.

Found this very rare recording of Fire Control band's cover of 'The Ocean' featuring Jim Welte on vocals. Although unfinished, it's a piece of my musical history. It was originally recorded to go on our CD.

@Mitch Pearrow SJMP will dig this as he was at several Fire Control rehearsals,

I am playing all guitars.

The bass tracks were recorded by the Late Keli Wilde just a few weeks before his death on February 4, 2019

Drums by Eric Rich

backing vocals by Eric Rich, Jim Welte and Me All vocal tracks recorded on February 10, 2019

Nice work as always Robert

Yea, that 7/8 measure is the icing on the cake for that song.

For other odd time Zep signatures check out ...

Try keeping up with the Crunge, on the same album.

Add 'Out On The Tiles' to that list. That thing is a bitch to get right.

And 'The Wanton Song' will mess you round too.
