Tonight I was listening to the Buddaheads and picked up my yet to be named 339. I started playing along with several of my favorite songs. Nothing fancy, just basic power chord rhythm and bass lines. It felt good that I was able to listen to the notes and play along, in key, in time. I had never tried playing any of these songs, never thought that I'd be good enough to play with Alan. I really felt in sync with him and his music tonight.

I wouldn't dare do that.
If I gig out and only take one guitar, the other guitars will beat me up when I get home.

If I take a backup and it doesn't get played it becomes the main for the next job.
My guitars aren’t quite so reasonable.
The SGs get downright cranky and will charge you like a pair of angry rhinoceros.
I don’t play out often, but when I do, my inner Boy Scout comes out and says “be prepared”. So I take AT LEAST 2

Yea, it's a bit on the small side, but it was late so I felt it appropriate.
And, it's going to be appropriate again in about 4 hours when I get home.

What made you think of that?
Well, it’s the first time I spent some quality time with it for the reason I bought it, playing through headphones. I picked up the PRS to start wearing out the strings since this is the one I’m going to replace the pups with some BK Stormy Monday’s. It played much nicer on this amp than the Mesa. So now I gotta think about the pup swap.
