I haven't really played at this thread yet. So, here it goes...
For the last 3 weeks, I have not played any of my electrics. It's been strictly my '08 Martin HD-28:

My old High School Buddy, and garage bandmate from 40 years ago, talked me into doing a one-time acoustic gig with him and a couple other musicians. After learning a few songs and loosing a few more brain cells, we pulled it off yesterday at his local neighborhood mini-mart/sandwich shop/mass beer consumption hangout... which is directly across the street from his house.
I've played this guitar more in the last 3 weeks than I have had in the 4 years since I've owned it. What is very cool is that I can actually hear and feel this guitar open up in the process.
I also built up a lot of strength in my fretting hand:

Song #8 is an original composition from my Buddy.
#9 is "The Weight" by the The Band
#11 is Knocking On Heaven's Door

I need to spend time with my acoustic. Thank you for the inspiration Mr BannerI haven't really played at this thread yet. So, here it goes...

I’ll tell you this...I appreciate a nice Swiss Army knife rig! I strive to set up each of my guitars to be suitable for all that I could ask in any night....with each's own personality taken in to account...something I learned along the way somewhere. Maybe it is just a learned appreciation thing, but regardless, “my keepers can keep me happy playing everything I can play”.Thanks Tbd!!
I'll tell ya....maybe it's a variety thing, cause otherwise I don't see any point for me to play anything besides this guitar and amp. All of a sudden it just hit me.....after five years....I friggen love it.
