Thanks Johnny! It’s still a toss up for me which I love playing more, this one or my Richie Faulkner V but this one eeks out as a workhorse because it doesn’t have a Floyd and the stainless steel frets.
I love Floyd rose bridges but having to get it restrung and set up is a pain!
I’m really glad you like my stuff Mitch! I have one that I just did with my V ready to get mixed and mastered, I’m waiting for my audio engineer’s schedule to open up a bit so he can work on it. And then I’m planning on having a music video of some sort done for it.
In the mean time, I’ve been working on ideas and chord progressions for another
Yeah Matt I have been on a V kick for the last year.. and I can’t wait to hear it.

Tracking a song with my pinstriped “Big Tex” Telecaster a month ago…I’ve been using it almost exclusively for band rehearsals the last few weeks (while using other instruments for jamming and writing around the house):

Managed to finish a job early and made it home today. My hands are destroyed by hydraulic oil this week, and they hurt like hell playing my SG in the hotel room. Tonight my Les Paul was a bit more easy on the hands and more comfortable to play. Sounded sweet plugged into the DR103.

Monday I received a 2008 PRS SC245 let it stabilize for a day set it up started off playing with our band I didn't care how it sounded dark
at first switched to the McCarthy 594 PRS then the Les Paul Standard back to the SC245 when I engaged the Klon that's all it needed
five hours gone today we did the same thing so I have 10 hours of play time it sounds better now I don't understand it non played guitars
did my spirit go into it not sure all I can say the guitar opened up on my Les Paul it took 17 years to open up what I like playing new songs I never have before.

What pups are in the 245?
A 2008 could have either had "245" pups, or 57/08.

On the hang tag 245 pickups neck reads 8K bridge 9K range.

That's interesting...
Apparently my 2008 Mira pups are 245, but I can't say they ever struck me as being "dark". That said it's a completely different guitar, all hog with splits.
I need to haul it out and play it again...

The 245 started out dark but changed the more I played it. I love the neck profile it is exact to the PRS Custom 24 I got new in 1991That's interesting...

Thanks. It’s an ‘85 Standard that I bought in ‘90. I’m pretty sure it’s just a tobacco sunburst finish. There were not as many color options back then.Oh wow, I don't think I've seen that LP before, what a babe!!!

Been playing these 2 modded Squier SE strats. I add another shim to the rear of the neck pocket on the HSS to get the strings a bit higher off the deck.
Most of my cheapy straps are either too short or on the last rung, so I finally added a Well-Hung old school strap lock to each of these to add a couple of inches - perfect!
I also notice I now don't feel awkward switching between the Fender and Gibson scale lengths like I did before. I still prefer the Gibson scale, but it is much less noticeable than in the past.
