The Muse I Adorn

I've never had tuning variables on my 2021 Les Paul. Everytime I take it out of the case, it is dead-on. It stays in tune during performances too.

This is much different from my previous experiences with Gibson Les Pauls.

I've examined the work performed by the builder on the nut and its a classic funnel shape with a generous fall away...The same multi-angle profile I use to keep Stratocasters in tune while divebombing.

It's fitted with a Graph Tech XL Nut from the factory, according to the spec sheet.

It was built on July 17, 2021 and i picked it up on November 17, 2021. I took it straight to a live performance that night with zero issues.

I played it with the original strings (.046 x .010) until March 2022, when I changed them for Ernie Ball Paradigm .046 x .010's.

This is the most trouble-free and consistent guitar I have ever owned.

I believe this is a good indication that Gibson is really stepping up their game (recently) with regards to quality control and bringing more automation into the production process.

Neck angle, tuning key location, fret and bridge placement are all right on the money and it intonates at every position on the fretboard and the ABR-1 still isn't maxed out.

I must say, the Gibson custom shop did this one right. However, I did manage to make it a bit better. This '56 reproduction was reproduced a little too closely and did not allow for pickup adjustment. However, a little routing fixed that problem and now she's perfect!

tulip tuner excellent pickups great neck great tone Holds its own against any Ibanez,Gibson,Fender,Epiphone etc etc in build quality and sound.... and was less than 300.00

Its a step above say an oscar schmit or Xavier ... grote... etc in build and fit and finish and I like the switch up on the ear .... more LEs Paul like if you stumble on one try it out you maybe surprised. Good gear doesnt have to cost a fortune ....

Very nice ESG ! I just saw one of those on Craigslist. I wonder how good they are ? Say compared to a epi?
Well Ive owned the EPi DOT and the Casino
and its honestly more solid and better (and I love EPIPHONES for the record own a BUNCH ) -- the Peavey is better, hardware's better build quality weight thickness of woods etc...
OBVIOSULY if you "had to " you could drop gibson or duncan etc etc pups in it and electrics.... I thought that myself... before I played it .... totally un needed -- everything on it just works and works well
