Not the same as plugging into an amp….. but the GT1 does a decent job. Plug in the headphones and rock away. Don’t disturb a soul.

Before I got my Marshall amps , I did the headphone thing with the Vox Tone Lab. Put a lot of riffs together with nobody to hear them..

When the Tonelab came out I kinda wanted to get one. Looked good. YT videos sounded good. Just never pulled the plug. On the GT1 I just used the presets for a couple years. Few months back, finally started messing with settings and saving them. Like most of those boxes, you can do everything on the box…. But plugged into a computer makes it stupid easy to change and save new settings.

Mine is a malfunctioning unit, I got it for being a friend, he told me it was malfunctioning, I offered him $100.00 and he just said hang on to it, and I have for 7 years now..

Still tweaking the circuit of this amp.
Among other things, I played along through the rhythm track a few times on JP Grinder.
I also kind of made up the bass riff from the roots of the rhythm chords on the beater bass .
Just happened to be playing this P90, go figure.
