The Muse I Adorn

Actually got to jam tonight. Because I haven’t brought any of my English amps back to Tom’s, I played with the Bandmadter again tonight. Can’t believe how awesome this thing sounds. Especially with my Billy-Bo, ES-335, and Rick 330.

I was talking about this amp with a friend today, and realized that I really need to blueprint it. It has that special something that many amps don't. I mentioned it sounded great with the Billy-Bo, ES-335, and Rick 330. But, it also sounds very magical with my '85 Les Paul (which is also insane with my DST-30), my '69 SG Standard, and my homemade '58 style Flying V. It really likes guitars with old or vintage spec'd pickups. It has early sixties NOS RCA tubes, and the correct variations in all the correct places. I think the tubes have been in there for a good ten years, if not longer. I play it maybe a couple of times a year, and when I do... it's like "WOW! What an amazing amp!" Even when we were paying Thursday night, every time we ended a song, Ritchie (the drummer) would start laughing and scream "That sounds fvcking amazing!" The combination of that amp and the Filtertrons really works well together. As far as I know, it's still all original. Not bad for 57 years old.

Let us hear it !!
The operatives words are “working on” :rolf:. I bought the Band-in-a-box software and installed it a few days ago; its my poor excuse for finding a drummer and bass player:pound-hand:. And this song is my learning curve on how to use it. I got all the rhythm parts down, but the 8 bar solo is taking me some time.
Had carpet installed on the basement stairs this past week and the tile floor gets installed starting tomorrow, so it’s gonna be a busy week. Maybe by next weekend I can get a clip with drums, bass and my sorry ass posted.
