The Muse I Adorn

I got up this morning, and finished one of the projects I’ve been slacking/working on. I completely re-wired, and re-arranged, my pedalboard. It doesn’t look that different, really…but there have been some changes…

….oh yeah….and the muse I adorned through a real life amp…

This was the first run through a traditional tube amp for this SG since I put the new pickups in. Wow! Does it ever sing!

I know….it’s a mess in the studio…I’ve been working on getting it cleaned up, and part of that involved re-working the pedal boards.

This morning I forgot to load an amp in the car for this evening’s jam. Good thing my ‘64 Bandmaster was at Tom’s. Haven’t used it for a while, and it sounded awesome as always.

It did pretty good considering what I was up against.

As I‘m cranking this little beastie (2013 Les Paul Reissue) through my JTM45, I can’t help but really dig out the cool vintage sounds that this can conjure. I think they did a good job on the ‘57 Classic pickups on this model. Thinking that this might be a good candidate for a Peter Green mod. The middle position sounds nice on this, but it might be fun to push it over the top.

Weapon of choice this evening whilst doing research for another thread (to see if I watch either hand while I play) More research needed.

And then since it was standing in the corner, thought I’d blow the dust off this poor lonely stringed instrument and pluck a few notes.

Then I went to bed. Need that beauty sleep.
