The Muse I Adorn

I had been wanting to switch the order of my Klon and Drybell Machine for a while. With the Klon second, the jump was over the top, even with everything turned down on the pedal.

So, I did. I’m glad that I did. I was using the ES-335 and my homemade JTM45, and set the Klon up as a great “Fat” pedal to beef up the sound. It was very even to the amp clean at 4. It was also very responsive to touch. Then, both sides of the engine boosted things at a more even timbre, and the volume was more controllable.

As I was goofing around with the Klon, I added the Funky Vibe and Dawner Prince Boonar. I tried the first four notes of “Shine On You Crazy Diamond.” Wow! What a fun sound. Lots of wild demensions and tones, all just by adjusting the guitar’s volume knobs.

A fun night for sure. Can’t wait to jam again after a road trip.

Yours is way too nice looking….. but……

Add a Bixby, aluminum pick guard. Drop in a mini bridge pup and P90 neck pup. Then beat the crap out of it to make it look like a 50 year old road warrior….. then go and crank out some Cinnamon Girl. 1628506767270.jpeg
