Fresh strings!
From a few days ago.
The seller put new strings on it when I got it end of Jan.. and it was time for a new set.

I have only played a couple of times lately; still recovering from the COVID.
I am past the contagious stage, but still feeling run down towards days end, just dont feel like doing anything.
I took a nap after work and felt fresh when @chilipeppermaniac came by last night.

I had the awesome pleasure last night to meet John and his wife, AND to check out this LP and some of his amp builds and other guitars as I picked up my Jackson RR 3 V before making another 3.5 hour drive home and arriving at 2 AM. Although I was tired from my 3 hr drive to Delaware, attending to the needs of my mom with dementia, then traveling another 3+ hours into New Jersey at night at the mercy of a GPS, my sis and I arrived at John's house a wee bit before 10 PM.

John was a true brother and as I could tell instantly, a proud family man. The signs were all around his house that it was a true HOME as well as a real nice house to be welcomed into.

I cannot thank John enough for all his did to make it possible for me to purchase this V from another New Jersey guitar player, and to give it his fine tuning and going over so I could receive it in fine shape ( minus the few warts it came with that I knew already)
I wish John 100% recovery real soon, and for lots of awesome enjoyment of all his Muses.

PS, I also got to see his Well HUNG strap!!! nice one for sure., It is on the LP if you can see it.

that pic makes it hard to see, it's a Fender Hot Noiseless with a straight humbucker adaptor. I had a Tele pup min it but can not take 60 cycle hum anymore. So a few days ago I had this sitting around so I thought I would give it a whack, I actually like it in this guitar. This guitar is due for a bit of a set up and I need to get after the nut, I had it set up for slide (which I am terrible at) .
