Says WHO? Ebidis?

All I can say is I think this fella doesn't get enough mention from ME as to his impact on my love of music and all stringed instruments.

If it weren't for Roy, I may have been one of those couch potato types who played video games instead of played sports, skateboarded, rode dirtbikes, went fishing, horse riding, shooting guns, playing bass and guitar, trumpet and piano, and never lost the joy I derived from his playing and wanting to be as talented. Mr Owens had a big role too. Then along came Blackmore, Lifeson, Nugent, Van Halen, Steve Howe, etc etc.

Roy was an amazing talent. I grew up watching him on Hee Haw every week. In fact, Buck Owens' red white and blue Tele is one of the first electric guitars I ever remember seeing, that I actually recognized as an electric guitar.
