I shimmed the neck and finally (been intending to do it for a year or 3 now) got the action on the THUNDERBIRD uber low........man I realy like this beastie .....

of course in my small office while working on it today .....i hit 2 other gutiars (no damage) a dog......my computer and KNOCKED OVER my water bottle (lid on thank Heavens) .........she is a BIG OL GAL but man I love playing this thing

Yes. Doing some experimentation, after getting a recommendation from a friend up north. It was very difficult to find. Not as difficult as a Klon, but almost.

I got the '68 Honey-Vibe version. Probably one of the last available in North America. The '69 or Fillmore versions were all sold out. Does Gilmour sounds very well. Haven't really tried any Trower stuff yet, as time has not been available.

It was a Korean build , and one of my Epi’s that I changed nothing but strings on.

Dang, tobacco burst? I had one almost like that, I have a friend who was in need and I gave it to him it also was a great playing and sounding guitar.

I still kind of regret selling it, but the TB I was playing earlier, is what I bought to replace it.
Still doesn’t stop me from missing it.
