Been banging on the ol GHOST ---- 9 years Ive had this beastie (thats FOOGIN FOREVER IN FERENGI YEARS) -- recently UPGRADED to a DIMARZZIO 36th anv. paf (thanks Goo) in the bridge........and the previously upgraded P94 from WILKINSON in the neck

the Dimarzzio -- a thick 13 lb lester and run it into a marshall......dimed......................................PURE 70's KISS Ace Frehley Tone ...........to a "T" ..............Im in throwback HEAVEN

As I recall ACE used Dimarzzios in his Gibsons...............well there ya go ----
 
Well this is a recent addition as the Epi V needed some Epi friends. I’d been jonesin for a Gibson Nighthawk 3 pup custom, but didn’t find one that said buy me. Then I stumbled onto these Epi NH reissues and well, they are very affordable. Got this a few weeks ago and cranked it through the Kemper Camplifier today.

I haven’t really tried to dial it in yet. The feel and ergonomics work, but the Kemper is such a beast, I really need to plug it into the amp I played the most, my H&K Dutone and compare. I’m just to busy with the basement buildout, that spending an hour playing guitar makes me feel guilty that I’m slacking off on the job :unsure:

Fricking "mind games"... I hate them!
 
SX Rose. 24 3/4" scale. Pups are Tom Anderson SC2 neck and middle / Bill Lawrence Microcoil for middle in the bridge. Mini-toggles split the neck and middle, which are stacked single pups. The other mini toggle is my home made passive boost.

neck shape/angle negatively impinges on my carpal tunnel & tennis elbow issues.........causing neck shoulder and arm pain without the brace----
the SG-1 and SGJ did the same on purchase........................after a few weeks of abuse.....things level out and no brace needed....presently without the brace 5 minutes of play makes my left hand and shoulder about useless .....and pain filled ---
Ive damaged broken and destroyed SO MUCH in there over the years its a wonder it works at all
