Not my pic, because I am lazy. Thing does better "Iommi-tone" on the neck pickup than my SG's. It's an absurd color, but classic, so what the hell.
 
I was playing this beast earlier-- -its odd and quirky Gibbo---
Gibsons "All American" series-- sg-1
24 frets (seems ebony board) mahogany body -- baseball bat neck -- schaller tuners
1 Seymour Duncan SPLITTABLE pup
almost no beveling -- slab body --

its (like many of mine) beat to :poo:---but man -- you can get so many tones from that 1 pup and where you pick ---
tele tones to FAT metal tones---
it truly sounds (and plays) way way way better than it looks

They seem rather rare VERY LITTLE info on them -- only made for a few years--

This model was something of a single-pickup SG Special with 24 frets. This model was renamed to be "SG-X" in 1998 with no spec changes.

I am playing my Gibson R0 tonight, Ms. Goldie Hawn herself. For purposes of "historical accuracy" these had an extremely shallow pup route so that they could not be adjusted downward. As a result, I could not adjust the action to my liking because it would hit the pup cover.

It's great guitar! Mine was like a year old when I got it. Offerup deal... a kid got a new guitar and never played it so dad sold it for him. It sounds like you like yours as well. The P90s are awesome.
 
My main dreadnaught is minus a B string (why the hell does a B String give out?) and I been too lazy to change it.
So I'm on plan B this afternoon, working out another Katy perry tune, Chained to the Rhythm ( I work on acoustic treatments of pop songs as kind of a little hobby). Minus the rap bit of course.

Anyway, meet the TVvoodoo Angry Chicken custom, maybe one of the dumbest guitars you'll ever meet. I kind of designed it, so I must take some responsibility for my errant ways.

This is "Bone", a guitar named in honor of the nickname of its previous owner, a musician who died far too young. After his death, it was given to his good friend, my neighbor. It remained unplayed for a number of years and I promised to give it TLC and a continued musical voice. I gave it a fretboard level, re-fret, new nut and a nice buffing. The guitar and the real Bone as best man at my neighbor's wedding are pictured below.
