PRS meets Laney tonight...
Sorry for the flash photography, but it is getting close to midnight here.
Wow! A humbucker in the bridge position, and a P90 in the neck position! Who knew this would be such a great combination?!?!
It almost matches the Merlot-Burst Peavey bass that I posted the other night...
Something is up with the pickup switch though...it’s like the bridge pickup is neutered occasionally. Throwing the switch back and forth clears it up for a while, but.....I have to take a look tomorrow.
Otherwise this PRS SE Chris Robertson Sig is still a crazy awesome player! And it’s first trip through the Laney was quite blissful indeed! It definitely brings the heavies, and shines the cleans....
edit: and after all this viral panic is over, and things get back to “not crazy” I’m going to have to find a suitable Marshall slant cab to pair with this straight one...the Laney deserves a full stack treatment in its golden years...

I do love that Chris Robertson, and the P90/HB combo is pure genius!
Try a quick shot of Deox in that switch, then flick back and forth, before you start digging in too deep. It cured that problem for me just last week, and a few times prior

That little Randall looks interesting...
